I moved to the sunshine state of mind (San Luis Obispo) from the midwest five years ago. Coming from the arctic tundra, I truly appreciate the charming town of SLO. I enjoy sharing my passion of the local food culture with visitors and playing tour guide. I understand the need for a local's point of view. What to do, what to see, and most importantly, what to EAT? Come join me, and I'll take the guess work out of your vacation (and feed you!).
Occasionally my co-host Victoria will take tours out. She a mom of three and a local yoga instructor.
PS We are both YUMMY.

This was a great experience. Angee has really become a SLOcal and knows the area. We drank, ate, and walked our way through downtown. The food tour acted as a full meal too - meat, vegetables, carbs, dessert, and drinks. Overall, the experience was cool and gave a real entry into exploring more of SLO.

I'm naturally skeptical of tours and have never done an AirBNB experience but I'm so glad I went on Angee's tour! It was super fun, and although I had spent time exploring downtown SLO on my own, she took me to places I would have otherwise overlooked or simply not been able to access. Im considering moving to town and the information I got from the tour was super helpful for me - it's about more than just food! Although, of course the food was excellent. When you consider the food you get plus all the insider info, it's a great value.

My wife and I took this food tour in San Luis Obispo in July 2019. Angee was out of town and we had Victoria. Victoria was a local and has such a great personality, kinda like we were old friends and she was showing us around her home town. That made the experience all worth while. Victoria picked some good spots with good food but Victoria made it even better with her insight, knowledge and humor. Definitely worth the money.

I think it all depends on who is guiding the tour. We didn't have Angee. We had a very nice young man as our guide. My experience was if you want to learn about the history of SLO and the restaurants you are visiting, be prepared to ask questions. If you want to sample some BBQ, beer, and cocktails this is the tour for you.
