Where you'll be
First of all, we will meet in a very representative independent cafe in Fangcao Street, Chengdu, and explain the use of equipment while tasting coffee. Then we will go to the People’s Liberation Army 7322 Factory (Baiyao Factory), which is 4 kilometers away. The architecture here is very similar to the style of Beijing 798, all of which are industrial style, but there is more classical charm here, without industrial machinery. Sense, there is a lot of historical temperature between bricks and tiles. Finally, we came to Chengdu Hongwasi Street No. 18 Compound, an old red brick residential building built in the 1970s and 1980s. In the 1970s, Sichuan University built this building in order to solve the housing problem of young faculty and staff. It was allocated to people who were married and had children or planned to get married and were planning to give birth. This is how the "Yuanyang Building" was called. After the baptism of time, there are only a few old people and migrant workers who live here today. In this mandarin duck building, the clothes that residents dry, the potted plants planted at the door of the room, the battery carts and bicycles parked downstairs, also give this nostalgic mandarin duck building a strong atmosphere of life, so I chose it as our nostalgic shooting location.
