Macrobiotic teacher and vegan chef
Practicing Macrobiotics for 24 years, I teach macrobiotics and vegan cooking in Japan. I started teaching after returning from Singapore 17 years ago. My classes are relaxed and fun. Nana-san’s class was amazing! She is the sweetest. She made me an amazing vegan lunch with so much thought. We had a great time conversing about veganism, she is such a respectful and open minded person ❤️ her miso is beyond this world, she will show you how versatile miso is, from salad dressing to caramel for ice cream!!! Can’t wait to try my miso in a couple of months and to try some of her recipes that she posts about in her blog!! She’s a Miso magician ❤️

it was the best experience we've had in a long time. Nana was superb. We had an amazing lunch together, we made miso and Nana explained with much details.
We met local farmers and even had an extra lesson on onigiri.

I took both miso and tofu making class and they were both fantastic! Nana knows so much about healthy vegan and gluten free cooking and how to make everything from scratch - very inspiring! I feel so fortunate to have her as a mentor in my cooking journey. We also had the chance to see Japan’s countryside which was very special :)

After having the tofu making experience with Nana, I had the day after, this Miso making experience.
Again, I had an amazing time with her and also had the chance to visit her neighbourg house where her Miso was stored.
It’s truly an unique experience to spend time learning about something new and about local people without the usual touristic things.
