What you'll do

Enjoy nature away from Kuching city at the less-known waterfall located near to the border of Malaysia-Indonesia (Kalimantan).

You will get to trek across luscious Borneo rainforest to waterfalls, depending on your preferred difficulty level. If you opt for medium level difficulty level, you will have to trek for 2 hours along forest surrounded by interesting plants and insects to be observed. There are also bamboo bridges, streams and farms to trek through. If you prefer lighter and easy trek, you can choose to trek for 30 minutes to nearer waterfall instead. Best is to visit both waterfalls and take your time to relax and admire the nature.

Upon reaching at the waterfall, you can choose to swim and also learn to cook traditional Bidayuh meals in bamboo. Learn how our guides makes the famous "Ayam Pansuh" (chicken cooked in the bamboo" dishes) and our tribal way of grilling fishes.

Next, enjoy your lunch by the waterfall. You won't be able to miss simple packed vegetable dish together with the dishes prepared earlier. You will be able to enjoy local fruits available at the village too.

Lastly, take the last dip at the waterfall before trek back to the village.
Other things to note
No public facilities provided except for toilets belonged to village church near the parking area.

No facilities provided at the waterfall, everything is in its pristine nature.

Let me know any food allergy/dietary requirement that you have so that we can prepare food that you will surely enjoy.

Where you'll be

We will be visiting waterfalls that only few of even the locals know off, with its pristine nature still preserved. You can only reach the waterfall by trekking through mountains with locally-made track. No public facilities provided except for village church limited facilities, which is common for us to access their toilets. The waterfalls are located at the backyard of indigenous community village, namely the Bidayuh tribe.

Trekking to the waterfall was very enjoyable with Lawrence and Abbie as guides. Lawrence knew a lot about plants and animals and people living in the area, and Abbie was very easy to talk to and super friendly. The food cooked by Lawrence was amazing, and right next to the waterfall! Overall, a great experience.
