About your host

I have been mountain biking for just about 10 years! Whoa! Kind of shocking, but truly love the sport and the thrill it brings to any and everyone. I've ridden all over the U.S. including Colorado, California, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, and believe it or not, some of the best riding I've ever done is RIGHT HERE IN CONNECTICUT! Top notch rides, and a lot of good times. …

What we’ll do

So check it out! Once you book your experience, we'll meet at the trailhead (one of many locations within 25 minute ride of Norwalk), where I will meet you with the bikes (fit of bike based off of your height). We'll make a few quick adjustments, make sure you have the basics down, then hit the trail! If you are an advanced rider or have your own bike, feel free to bring it, as that will only…

What else you should know

Definitely bring a snack or two. Mountain biking can get tiring, so be ready for some serious R&R when you are done. Maybe an extra change of clothes - you can get muddy as well. Hmm, lastly, bring the GOOD VIBES! It's always a good time!

What I’ll provide

Beer, Coffee and Water

What to bring

t-shirt
shorts
bike shorts (padded shorts)
helmet (if you don't have one, let me know and I can provide one)
sneakers or mountain bike shoes
pedals (if you are an experienced rider and want to bring your own pedals)
extra t-shirt (you'll get sweaty)
camel pak or water bottle

Where you'll be

This is the best part! We will climb hills, cross streams, ride through rock gardens, and roll over roots, all while experiencing the serenity of nature. Take in some deep breaths and enjoy all this world has to offer!

Guest safety

Outdoor activities carry risks, and you may be exposed to dangerous situations as part of this experience. Make sure you can participate safely given your abilities and the conditions (such as location, weather, and equipment).

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 4 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Guests should know how to ride a bike. Mountain biking is no "walk in the park" . The skill component can be tricky, but I'll teach you before we head out onto the trail. As long as you are comfortable…

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Alcohol

This experience includes alcohol. Only guests who meet the legal drinking age will be served alcoholic beverages.

More tips

Definitely bring a snack or two. Mountain biking can get tiring, so be ready for some serious R&R when you are done. Maybe an extra change of clothes - you can get muddy as well. Hmm, lastly, bring the GOOD VIBES! It's always a good time!
