What you'll do

You’ll be greeted with a coffee or juice on arrival, before we jump into out foraging adventure. With only 6 participants, you receive personalised guidance on the different types of wild food, both native and introduced. We’ll spend about an hour and a half exploring and discovering what’s about, eventually moving to our lux camp. Once there you’ll be handed a glass of chilled champagne and be introduced to you camp staff who will be looking after you during our long lunch! We start with oysters natural and bbq’d. During the season, these oysters will be the native Angasi, oysters that have been enjoyed by Tasmanian Aborigines for thousands of years. We follow this with a feast of foraged foods including a wild mushroom pate with warm sour dough bread, a foraged plate of the wild food you picked only an hour before, locally caught fin fish, a magnificent slow cooked lamb breast finished on the bbq, all matches the the award winning wines from Bream Creek vinyard. We finish off with freshly brewed coffee and “wild” cannoli! A totally unique experience.

Where you'll be

Our tour locations are dependent on the season. For our spring tour we will spend time walking through a marsh area located behind the beautiful blue lagoon beach, with our lunch camp located on the foreshore of Fredrick Hebert bay. Our Autumn forage will be the pine forests located at Seven mile beach, with our lunch camp set up in a secluded location within the forest

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 18 and up can attend. This is an adventure into a wild marshland uneven ground/ trip hazards may be present. Please be aware that this may require a little strenuous activity.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
