What you'll do

In order to get to know our beautiful community, this experience begins with a short walk through some of the streets of the place, where we will share the taste for MAYAN HISTORY, we will visit one of its SECRET places, small, but with great HISTORICAL VALUE that very few know, even the locals. Slowly we will leave the town behind and head towards the beach area, sometimes along the way we find IGUANAS, TEJONES or other ANIMALITES.
Upon arriving at the beach (now a protected natural area) we will visit a SMALL VIEWPOINT where you will be able to admire the beauty of the akumal bay. to respect and care for this beautiful ecosystem.
Remember this will be an ECO-TRAVEL.
We will start from the shore so we will have the opportunity to see a variety of TROPICAL FISH different species of CORALES, in addition to MANTARRAYAS, BARRACUDAS, CALAMARES ... Of course, we will also see how they feed as they climb to the surface to breathe, greet us and see how they return to the bottom of the sea leaving us with a sense of tranquility.
Back to the shore we will return the equipment.
In case you need help for the rest of your day, I can give you some advice

Where you'll be

Our meeting point will be in the turtle wing statue that is in the town of akumal or some other place or time. From there we will make a little bed to know a part of the town and its secrets. Immediately we will go to the akumal bay, there we will enter the protected natural area where we can see a wide variety of tropical fish, manta rays, corals and of course the beautiful turtles in their natural habitat

Victor is a fantastic guide. He made the whole experience so unique. He was extremely caring from the very beginning, picked me up at the Colectivos stop and showed me around the town of Akumal, with local insights and stories about Maya and the population of Akumal. We then went snorkelling and he took extra time to make sure I could see the turtles, which I did in the end (4 massive beautiful turtles). Victor genuinely goes above and beyond to give that extra personal touch and make you feel part of the wonderful setting that is Akumal. Make sure to stop here and to have him as your guide!! Víctor es lo mejor!

Victor gave us an interesting tour of Akumal that was away from tourist center. This allowed us to get a better feel for the town. The scuba diving was wonderful and we got a chance to see some turtles, fish and a sting ray.
