What you'll do

You’ll have the chance to visit the province of Barahona and it’s beautiful beaches and rivers! Departing from Santo Domingo to Barahona with private transportation at around 6am, with a brief stop at Parador Cruce de Ocoa for breakfast! You’ll get to Barahona around 9:30am. First you’ll visit many places of interest in the city of Barahona, like the Central Park and the pier! You’ll visit Saladilla beach, Playa El Quemaito, then San Rafael river and beach, where you’ll have a tasty Dominican lunch. After that you’ll go to Los Patos river and beach, one of the shortest rivers in the world, and the shortest in the Caribbean. You’ll then enjoy time to cool off in its crystal waters until it’s time to return to Santo Domingo! You’ll get back to the city at around 8PM!

We’ll be in Barahona to visit it’s beautiful beaches and rivers! Altogether in a region that offers stunning views of beaches and mountains. We’ll visit Barahona, Saladilla beach, Playa El Quemaito, San Rafael, and Los Patos, where we’ll visit the shortest river in the Caribbean, the river flows into the beach a few meters from its birth!
