What you'll do

Located in the Andes mountains, Cusco gets history, tradition and a huge variety of ingredients together. Such as roots, fruits, grains, cereals and pseudo cereals, which are the main source of feeding of many communities. Endemic products that give an important value to our culture. Now, you can discover all of these andean flavors guided by one of our chefs. Starting with a market tour in San Pedro, the oldest one in town. Inside we will see butchery, the juice ladies, sorcery area, fruits and veggies from all over the country, healing herbs, and the food court Finishing the experience with a cooperative cooking lesson, making a 4 course tasting menu in our workshop, starting with a welcome drink and local bread. The plates we will make may change accoding season and allergies or intolerances.

Bruno

I was born and raised in Cusco, I am graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in culinary arts (Lima-Peru) and I own a master degree in culinary and creativity (San Sebastian- Spain), I have more than 6 years of experience working in kitchens in Peru, Usa, Spain and Panama. Now I decided to return to my homeland to put in practice all the knowlegde and to show the diversity of food we have here in the andes to the people visiting Cusco.

Where you'll be

We will start in the Central market ,San Pedro, for a guided tour. Then we will go to cook in a covered roof top kitchen with an amazing view of the south of the city with the snow mountain "Ausangate"
