What we’ll do

As soon as we arrive at the house where the class will be held and you're presented with a refreshment whether it be one of the following: a ice cold jelly, a Red stripe or Red Stripe light, water, Jamaican soft drink-Ting or Ginger beer. What I’ll provide

Pastries-Jamaican Beef Patty which is similar to a meat pie or empanadas and Jamaican Gizzada which is coconut based flat tart looking. Dishes-Jamaican Steam Fish, Curried/Brownstew Chicken, Ackee&Saltfish, Jerk Chicken. Ground provision-boiled dumplings, yams, sweet potato, plaintain, Irish potato
Beer, Soft drinks and Water
Depending on the day I will offer you one of the following: a cold redstripe or redstripe light beer, an ice cold jelly/coconut, a Jamaican soft drink which could be ginger beer, ting, etc
A comfortable 8 seater tour bus which an experienced driver who will pick you up at your location and drop you off safely.

Where you'll be

Cooking Classes will be held at my grandmother’s house which is where I grew up. It has a big kitchen and backyard which is necessary for your experience... In the kitchen we’ll utilize the Stove, oven and refrigerator while in the backyard we’ll utilize what is called a Jamaican cold pot which uses charcoal and create our own wood fire.

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
