What you'll do

Let's go on a search for relics and find out why these unique objects are worshiped in the churches of Rome. Were they in the possession of saints? Or were they used as torture tools? Are they miraculous? And wich legends revolve around them? Let's discover the objects that contribute to establishing Rom's position as the center of Catholicism. On top of that, will we learn the stories about some saints and martyrs and how to recognize them by interpreting the symbols in the works of art. In the end, I'll show you where to find the best traditional pizza in the city.

Roberto Alois

My name is Roberto Alois Lautenschlager Kung and I'm 31 years old. In Germany, I have received my certification as " Specialist in Tourism Management and Tour Guide". I specialized myself in the Eternal City and "Caput Mundi" Rome. I have been living in Rome for one year and have guided groups regularly throughout and around the city in the last years. As a developer of a smartphone travel guide application for Rome (To be released in November), I was able to expand my knowledge even further. Because of that, I can be flexible and focus on your wishes and ideas. The unique combination of culture, art, history, religion and outstanding food are the reasons why Rome attracts me and also millions of tourists annually.
