What we’ll do

We will meet at a the Country Store in Hannawa Falls, where you will follow me to the boat launch. At the boat launch, we will go over some water safety, and discuss the fishing techniques we will be using. The Raquette is home to Bass, Pike, Waleye and a variety of pan fish. Depending on the time of year and species of fish we are after. You could be trolling, jigging or casting to underwater…

What I’ll provide

Snacks and Lunch
All trips include snacks ( granola bars, jerky, trail mix) and a shore lunch. ( burgers, chili, pasta) Let me know what you would like to eat and I can put it on the menu.
Coffee, Juice, Soft drinks, Tea and Water
Outdoor gear and Safety equipment
I provide all the gear and equipment.

Valid NYS fishing licence for anyone over 16

Where you'll be

This section of the Raquette is made up of a chain of impoundments used to create hydroelectric power. Although this is a man made lake, the wooded shorelines and summer cottages give this section of River a wilderness feel. Expect to see ducks, geese and the occasional loon as we make our way up the river.

Outdoor activities carry risks, and you may be exposed to dangerous situations as part of this experience. Make sure you can participate safely given your abilities and the conditions (such as location, weather, and equipment).

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 2 guests ages 12 and up can attend. Anyone 16 and over must posses a valid NYS fishing licence.
