What you'll do

You will be guided by the park's main attractions, where an expert will illustrate the beauties of the path. We will recognize tree species, some at risk of extinction. In the Garden of Senses you will use touch, smell and taste to recognize the various plants used as spices in cooking. In the beautiful Lineu Garden, you will find a peculiar landscaping amidst the open-air sculptures and the botanical garden greenhouses, which house temporary exhibitions. We will visit the Lake of the Nymphs, where the “cousins” of the Amazonian plant “Vitória Régia” live. From the Orchid to the 360-meter Spring Trail designed to minimize the impact of human footprints, the path will lead to one of the springs of Ipiranga Creek. Several animals of the native fauna such as monkeys, sloths, birds and lizards, living freely in their natural habitat, can be seen very close to the spring water eye.
Difficulty level: light. It has security guards throughout the area,
The tour takes a break at the restaurant and shop, where we get together and take a picture. And finally, we will see the renaturalization of the stream, with interpretative plates that stimulate the capacity for observation and reflection cultural, biological, geographical and historical.
Other things to note
The place has drinking water fountains directly from the interior springs of the park.
Snack bar is open every day from 9 am to 5 pm.
In the park's prime area, a restaurant that opens at noon serves lunch per kilo.
Security guards watch the place.

I have a degree in Biology, with a Master's degree (USP) and PhD (UFSCar) in the area. I worked as a director at the Secretariat of Green and Environment of the São Paulo City Hall in projects of afforestation, sidewalks and green roundabouts, environmental education in parks and vegetable gardens in schools. As a university professor, I have been promoting trips with students to the Botanical Garden since 2009. This experience was so well evaluated that I decided to turn it into a Tour. I lived outside Brazil for a year (Massachussets / USA), I speak English well. I love to do outdoor activities.
