I'm the Studio Programming manager here at Cook Space, a culinary studio in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn designed to foster and build confidence in the kitchen - in an atmosphere where guests feel welcome, inspired, and emboldened to experiment. I've been in the New York food industry for 2.5 years, and have been bonafide foodie for as long as I can remember. Cook Space owner Michelle ran her own Brooklyn cafe, a favorite of the neighborhood for over 10 years. Our staff, including Tom, Dianne, Stephanie, and Anna, is comprised of a team of experienced, professional chefs will guide you through the techniques from flavor-building to frying. They have a diverse range of specialties and backgrounds, but share the common passion for instilling confidence in the kitchen and sharing their vast knowledge of all things food.
We'll have a light, seasonal snack for you to enjoy upon arrival.
We'll provide aprons for each student.
Where you'll be
We'll be on the second floor of a quaint commercial building, tucked away on a quiet street in the popular Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. This thriving neighborhood is nestled away from, but also conveniently close to The Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, and the Barclay's Center.
