About Hudson River Maritime Museum

Located on the historic Rondout waterfront, the Hudson River Maritime Museum was established in 1979 to collect, preserve, research, exhibit, and interpret a collection of historical artifacts related to the maritime heritage of the Hudson River and its tributaries.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Hudson River Maritime Museum. .

What we’ll do

Guests will tour the Rondout Creek aboard the 100% solar-powered tour boat Solaris and learn about the industrial history of the Rondout Waterfront. Viewing historic landmarks and ruins, guests will receive a comprehensive history of the area and the impacts on the Hudson River Valley as a whole. Where you'll be

Starting at the Hudson River Maritime Museum, guests will see Island Dock, Wurts Street Bridge, New York Central Railroad Bridge, Feeney Shipyard, the Fitch Bluestone House, cement plant remains, sunken ships, D&H Canal Lock No. 1, the Eddyville bridge, and more.
