What you'll do
I will introduce local ingredients while i prepare the food. If participants want to join me we will start to cook/bake together otherwise while they enjoy their beverages with i will cook and we'll discuss about the culture and techniques of Turkish cuisine. If the season is suitable for our garden we'll tour our tiny garden and we'll enjoy eating at the garden under very old wisteria tree. Menu Starters: 2 cold appetizers. Seasonal cold served vegetable dish and "Haydari" (Yogurt and cheese based appetizer) Main Course : Baked Meat Ball with sauce (Mom's Style) & Rice Pilaf OR "Hünkar Beğendi" (An Ottoman dish veal meat served with eggplant based side dish) Dessert : "Su Muhallebisi" (Milky dessert with starch served with powdered sugar and rose water) OR "Şekerpare" (Sweet pastry with syrup) OR İrmik Helvası (Semolina dessert) PS: - Menu's would be changed due to season and supply process. - I will start cooking process of some dishes before your arrival as it may take a while. - If you like to consume alcoholic beverages you need to inform us. - If you don't eat meat please don't hesitate to ask for alternative menus.

I studied Art Management and got my professional cooking certificate from Kadir Has University, Chef School which is in cooperation with Institute of Culinary Education. I am also beginner level certificated chocolatier. I have worked in many restaurant kitchens around İstanbul and also organized cooking & baking workshops for children. Where you'll be
You will enjoy your experience in our family house which is a monumental wooden building. Our house is located one of the oldest neighborhood of İstanbul at the Anatolian side of the Bosphorus. You will enjoy our Bosphorus Bridge view while eating our local dishes.
