What you'll do

Unique Traditional Lanna Dance Workshop: Teaching Traditional Lanna Style Dance. This style originates from Chiang Mai, known as “Fawn Leb” and was originally an art performed for the Royal Courts. It comprised 15 movements and poses, all accompanied by Traditional Lanna Instruments playing the music of the region. The movement is gentle and slow with a progression of shot steps and stately swaying of the shoulders and upper torso. To reflect the beauty, calm, and peacefulness of Lanna style. The slow movement of the postures brings body and mind together peacefully, two aspects of the same thing with body mindfulness, and awareness. Each mindful breath has the function of helping our body and mind to calm down and focusing on well-being. Breath is the most important part, as breath is life the better the breath the better the life. Quietly take each gentle step of feet reminds of Walking Meditation, with each breath take a step and touch the earth mindfully in such a way that establishes yourself firmly in the present moment, the here and the now. Anticipated Benefits: 1. To have knowledge. Learned and understanding of Traditional Lanna Dance 2. To unites our body and mind 3. Each mindful posture, breath, and step remind you to be in the present moment. Improves well-being, concentration, build focus, mindfulness and awareness 4.
