What you'll do
We leave from Russell at 10am and set sail for a cruise through the Bay of Islands. During the sailing, we will share the history of the bays and our guests can participate in the sailing or just relax and enjoy the views. At our anchorage, you can go ashore for a walk, swim, snorkel or relax on board while a fresh lunch is prepared in the galley. Lunch is served on the boat and is always punctuated by lively conversation.
We sail back to Russell to arrive at the wharf at about 3:30pm.

Rick and Robin are NZ licensed captains who have been sailing the world for almost 40 years. We are passionate about sailing and our beautiful boat, Phantom. We love to share our knowledge of the Bay and teach new skills. We have a fantastic boat and have been entertaining guests in the Bay of Islands, on Phantom, for the last 20 years, and have enjoyed very high ratings on TripAdvisor, airbnb hosting, the Lonely Planet and the Rough Guide. You can get involved and learn about the sailing or just relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery.

Where you'll be
We will make one stop for approximately 1.5 hours at one of the beautiful islands in the bay - Roberton, Moturua, or Urupukapuka -time for a walk, a swim/snorkel and the making of a great lunch.
There are great walks, a variety of beaches and wonderfully clear water for a swim. Learn some of the history of the islands and its plant and birdlife and we often see playful dolphins.
