What you'll do

We offer a day on the weekends of October and November.
The morning will be dedicated to the olive harvest, done manually only with rakes, sheets and traditional fabric "pickers", without the noise of mechanical means to be able to converse or enjoy the silence.
In case of bad weather, I will take advantage of my experience as a tourist guide for a visit to a location of your choice: Spello with the Roman mosaics, Bevagna with the crafts of the Gaite, Montefalco with the surprising Church Museum of San Francesco, Assisi with its UNESCO heritage , Torgiano with the Wine Museum, Foligno with the Trinci Palace, Todi with the Bramante Church.
For lunch, guests can use the farmhouse kitchen and living room or leave for lunch in a restaurant of their choice.
In the afternoon the olives will be delivered to the traditional Nunzi oil mill (2 km away) where you will have a guided tour with an explanation of the cold pressing cycle, followed by a taste of bruschetta: slices of bread baked in the Granarium oven ( 2 km away), toasted and for the occasion dip in the new oil!
Other things to note
Pets, as long as they are small in size, are welcome.
Large dogs should instead be kept on a leash.

My husband Rossano's family has always looked after the olive trees around "Casale Mi Cantino" (the country house we rent on AirBnB), collects olives and produces cold-pressed organic extra virgin olive oil in the traditional Nunzi oil mill (2 km away ).
We have noticed over the years that this way of being in nature creates serenity like a kind of orthotherapy. We experienced it first of all with our children, who as children helped us in work a little as a game, but also with our adult friends who wanted to escape for a moment the rhythms of city life.
For 5 years we have an association for the integration of the disabled, with which we have made olive harvesting workshops, delivery of the same to the mill and immediate tasting of the oil.
One of our projects is the creation of an educational farm.

Where you'll be

On the way from our farm to the traditional Nunzi oil mill (which can also be covered with a pleasant 15 'walk), you pass the small church of Madonna della Pia which gives its name to the area: a country church, in stone, in a cypress driveway, with a beautiful glass window that immerses it directly in the greenery.
