About your host

Doing sports is an integral part of my life and therefore I have been lacing up my ice skates every winter for over 15 years. My passion was reinforced by my short-term work with a professional ice hockey team. As a native of Munich, I am also very familiar with the city. I have lived in several cities abroad (e.g. Sydney and Vancouver), so I'm very fluent in English. I love to meet new people…

Where you'll be

The ice skating takes place in the Olympic Ice Hall, which was built and opened in Munich in 1967 before the other venues of the 1972 Summer Olympics. The hockey team of the EHC Munich plays in the large hall next door. Afterwards we walk up to the Olympic Hill, THE viewpoint over the city. Especially in the dark the city with its lights looks very impressive.
