What you'll do

We'll meet at Washington Square Park, one of the city's original public plazas, where I'll introduce you to ghost hunting tools like EMF readers, and teach you what to look out for. Then we'll head into the basement of a structure built from fallen bricks in the Great Earthquake of 1906, and attempt to contact spirits from the turn of the century using candle and music. Next we'll hike (yes hike--it is a moderately strenuous 2 block hill!) up to see the twists and turns of Lombard Street, home to an unfortunate mansion with a history of death. Next we go explore the underground halls of SF Art Institute, and learn about the ghost in the bell tower, and the historic cemetery underneath, hunting for the paranormal here too. Next and conclude our tour in North Beach. Down the hill, we'll talk about America's oldest Italian restaurant, Fior d'Italia, to learn about their hauntings (you're welcome to dine or grab a drink there there post-tour). Finally, we explore the crown jewel of the tour, the San Remo Hotel. This is arguably the most haunted hotel in San Francisco, where we hunt for evidence of the paranormal using dowsing rods, infrared temperature detectors and spirit scanners for EVP.
