What you'll do

Meet in one of the most beautiful and rich in history district of Paris. La Bastille. I would then take you to one of the oldest markets in Paris. The Aligre market located in the heart of the faubourg Saint-Antoine, in the 12th arrondissement. This area, famous since Louis XIV for its carpenters and its cabinetmakers who, in the 18th century, passed to make the most beautiful furniture in the world, has been able to keep its village appearance, with its streets traced back to the Middle Ages. I will show you the best cheese and wine makers in the market. You can taste cheeses and wines and we will do some shopping for lunch. For our lunch we will be welcomed in a charming place of life rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine. In this place we will introduce you to the secrets of "Breton crêpes" from the making of the dough to the tasting. How to blow up french crêpes will have no secret for you !

Where you'll be

The current covered market Beauvau-Saint Antoine dates from 1843, it was built by Marc-Gabriel Jolivet, architect of the City of Paris, on the ruins of the previous market, looted and destroyed during the capture of the Bastille. The building owes its name to the last abbey of Saint-Antoine Abbey. After that the lunch and workshop will take place in a typical Parisian appartment.

More tips

The meeting point will take place at 10h30 in front of the Opéra Bastille. After that I will be your guide ! We will first go to visit the amazing "Marché D'Aligre" one of the oldest food market in Paris. After shopping and visiting we will go to the appartment to have lunch and "french crêpes" !
