What you'll do

We will meet at the docks in the Berkeley Marina. After a brief safety orientation, we will untie the lines and sail off into the Bay! Berkeley Marina offers incredible access to the Bay and stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and city front. Depending on the weather and the tides, we will choose the best route and destination. Perhaps we'll go for a pass of Angel Island, or make a break for the iconic Golden Gate! Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages, and we will supply a tasty (and healthy!) charcuterie plate to share! Guests can participate in sailing as much as they like, or just kick back and enjoy the spectacular view.

Learn more about Quincey & Mitchell

Quincey & Mitchell

We are Quincey and Mitchell! We have been sharing the magic of sailing with others for over ten years. We have taught sailing to kids and adults, in the Bay Area and beyond. Our lifestyle is unique, as our boat is also our home. We love the simplicity and adventure of life on the water, and being able to take or home anywhere in the world. Mitchell is a US Coast Guard licensed Captain and professional sailing instructor, and Quincey is First Mate and Chef. She holds a holistic nutrition degree, and is capable of catering to all kinds of dietary needs. We have both completed several safely at sea and first aid courses. We have logged 8,000+ nautical miles aboard Esprit, with plans to sail the globe! We have a small sea-faring cat aboard, who generally keeps to herself. Her breed is "low-allergy" but please advise us of any allergies.

Where you'll be

We will meet at the docks at Berkeley Marina and cast off for adventure! Our vessel is the world-sailing yacht Esprit. She is a robust, well-designed, and gorgeous 46' boat. She is fantastic for breezing around San Francisco Bay in comfort and style. From the cockpit and spacious deck, we'll enjoy spectacular views of the city front and Golden Gate Bridge. Keep a sharp eye out for whales, Bay porpoise, and seals!
