¡Hello we are Victoria and Dome!

Victoria is a professional chef born and raised in Sevilla. For more than 10 years she was living and working abroad on Germany, UK, Madrid and Barcelona as a pastry chef and chef de partie. She loves cooking and she will be delighted to show you more about the secrets of the Spanish cuisine.

Domenico’s passion for cooking started early, helping out at his uncle’s restaurant at the age of 13. Later he began his career as a cook, spending his professional years in Mallorca, where he learnt the secrets to making the perfect paella. Now living in Seville with his Sevillana wife, Dome enjoys teaching also at Taller Andaluz de Cocina.

Cooking and teaching really fascinates us and we are passionate about Paella, Spain’s most international dish. We love to teach people how to cook the authentic paella!

Highly recommended! I went with my 68 year old mother and we both loved it! Great food, great host, interesting market tour. Not only did I learn how to cook delicious Spanish food, but I picked up some knowledge about cooking that I’ll use from now on. My mom is a vegetarian and he made a separate paella just for her. This was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks Victor!

This was a great experience which I would highly recommend. Domenico was very personable, knowledgeable and skilled. It was an intimate group and we were all able to actively participate in the cooking. We learned new skills as well as some history of paella. The food we participated in making was delicious. This cooking experience was one of the highlights of our month-long trip to Spain!

I am personally not very fond of paella, always soggy and then the shells of the seafood that you have to fish out of your paella... So what a revelation here! Turned around my perspective of paella. It was the most expensive paella ever eaten by me (given it was a cooking class), but worth every penny of it :-), really superb. We had a really great afternoon, and funny enough, everyone on the course ended up doing late evening shopping at Corte Ingles to make sure to bring the ingredients home. Probably says enough on how people thought about the course, all eager to try out the recipes at home. And then I did not even mention the gazpacho and sangria (also a revelation here). Well, maybe a little less cooking as expected (luckily for me), but a true great experience. Victor, TOP work! We would certainly sign up for the next course when back in Seville!
