What you'll do

Lately designers are choosing to have their showrrom in departments that do not face the street and make themselves known through social networks. Luckily this fashion lover knows the best places that represent the local fashion scene! To get to know each other a little more we will meet in a small classic cafe of the city, and after having a cortado we will go to the first showroom that is hidden behind a beautiful garden of an old building in the Congreso neighborhood. Then we will go to a gallery that used to be the first women's high school in Latin America, but today it is a 3-story gallery where you can find more than 20 designers. And today what used to be classrooms are the stores for every designer. Then we will go to a hidden art showroom near Plaza serrano, this place is curated by two friends and combines art and design. You will find everything, from art peaces to utilitarian objects that links art with domestic and the everyday use objects. And we will have a classic drink at hipster bar full of argentinian references from the 90's and the 80's.

Learn more about Aida

Aida

I studied communication at the university and I am currently doing research on fashion in Latin America. So a little for pleasure and another bit for my thesis I spend reading, looking for new designers and trying on their clothes. I live in the city for more than 5 years, I have been in love with fashion since I can remember, I'm an amateur photographer and a very curious person. What I enjoy the most is discovering new things and, fortunately, Buenos Aires is ideal for that.

If you are traveling on a group bigger than 4 people, let me know to work something out.
