What you'll do

Designed as an introductory experience to the material, sign up for a three-hour private lesson with one of our expert instructors who will walk you through the basics of glass sculpting and blowing and whet your appetite for future glass adventures! Glassblowing is an ancient process, with artisans crafting beautiful objects with the same techniques and tools thousands of years ago as you will use during your lesson. Starting with solid glass shapes, you will form, sculpt, and play with the molten material, while being guided through safety information and best practices. After creating some solid pieces, you will move on to blown forms, learning how the glass stretches and expands into a bubble. Guests are welcome to come with ideas on what they want to try making, or the instructor can guide you through crafting a variety of objects. Ages 11 and up are welcome to take a lesson. Glassblowing lessons are open to any level of experience.
