Where you'll be

Gion is one of five pleasure districts of Kyoto and the biggest with 120 geishas.
Though Situated in bustling area, Kenninji Temple allows you to feel something spiritual in its quiet ground.
Then you'll walk around the area where few tourists visit after passing by the path filled with small shops.
Located at east end of Kyoto, Fushimi Inari Taisha is a venerated shrine and designated as Japan's No.1 sightseeing spot for 5 years in a row.

Incredible experience! We managed to have quiet the adventure across Kyoto in the pouring rain. The rain didn’t stop Kommy from sharing everything he knew. Highly recommend!

We appreciated Kommy’s welcoming smile and friendly greeting. As he led us through the different areas of Kyoto, we learned the fascinating history and culture of each one. Jimmy chose a restaurant that proved to be some of the best food we have experienced during our visit to Japan! We highly recommend to ask for Kommy for an engaging and exciting tour of Kyoto!

Used subway between locations. However, a taxi was used once due to buses being crowded. Very knowledgeable of Kyoto locales with little details and stories here and there. Used printed visuals to help explain concepts and stories if not in the environment. Answered my questions with definitive answers. Not many "I don't know"s. Patient with those that wanted to look more/ shop. Went to many Instagram-worthy places if you're into that. Worth the time and money.

Kommy is a good guide with some special knowledge and experiences of the place he brought us there. I could not have done it on my own and this is the value Kommy is adding to our trip. In-depth knowledge and specific nuances of a place are what we look for and Kommy is able to provide that for us. The best of it is that we traveled with him by foot and it makes our travel experience even more special as we could stop by any places of interested and ask him specific questions. This is not riding on a tour bus or boat could provide. The values of the face-to-face interactions is what makes Kommy special.

Enjoyed every moment - the views, the walk, and the topics shared. Kommy has worked outside of Japan, that i feel gives him an edge with foreigners seeking perspectives.
