What you'll do
I will show you the whole variety of Munich's beer gardens, which I visited regularly in the last seven years. Beer garden tours are an important part of the culture in Munich. They are basically pub crawls with beer gardens instead of bars. We will experience together three to four different types of beer gardens: - A typical neighbourhood beer garden for locals - A large, famous beer garden, where tourists and locals meet - A beer garden, which is connected to a food market (buy food on the market and beer in the beergarden - it's so good!) - A beer garden next to Munich's river Isar I selected beer gardens, which are serving different beers, so you are able to try different ones and compare them. I will use this to teach you more about the Munich beer types and brands. Furthermore, you will get some tipps and tricks on how to order these beers to your home country. In general you are allowed to bring your own food or buy typical Bavarian food sold be the beer garden. One of the beer gardens is connected to a food market, where also I will buy my food. Additionally, I will bring some typical local appetizers and snacks for you to the first beer garden. For moving from one to the next beer garden we will use public transportation and walking. In case the weather is cold or rainy or it is just winter time, we have several options as alternatives: - Christmas market tour (End of Nov until Christmas) - Beer cellar tour (Basically the same tour just with sitting inside) - Pub crawl through Munich's Irish Pubs (Live-Music!) - High-quality cocktail tour - Crazy student bars tour - Secret wine bar tour
I am a real Munich guy: Born and raised here, studied here und now I work here. Since I turned 16 (I am now 23), I am enjoying the huge variety of Munich's bars and restaurants nearly every evening. This variety in gastronomy combined with the Bavarian cozyness is what makes Munich special for me. It doesn't surprise that many of my friends, colleagues and family call me, when they need a recommendation to go out in Munich. I already gave restaurant and bar tipps for dates, business dinners and wedding proposals. Furthermore, I love to show my friends from all around the world around in Munich's restaurants and bars. Only in the last three months, I had people visiting me from Poland, England and the US. Trust me, no one went home sober :-)

Where you'll be
We will visit four beer gardens: A local neighbourhood one, a large one, one connected to a food market and one next to the river. At these we will sit under large, old trees drinking a Maß (this is what the large Bavarian beer is called), eating some Bavarian food and discuss about Munich and all aspects of life :-)
Things to keep in mind
Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.
Up to 9 guests ages 16 and up can attend.
You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
The minimum age for beer consumption is 16 years. If you are under 16 years old, you are welcome to book the tour as well and drink non-alcoholic drinks (I heavily recommend "Spezi", which is the coke of Bavaria!). For the alternative tours "Irish Pubs", "Student bars" and "Cocktail Bars" you must be 18 years old.
