Words can't even describe how amazing this Airbnb experience was! I loved learning how to boulder from the coolest teacher ever and being successful at making it to the top! Next we hopped into the car for a ride around Brooklyn. Ansel played his unreleased songs and we got to jam out in the back seat. He is such a talented artist with the best music. It was so cool being able to talk about his music and feel the connection he had to it. The stop in the park was beautiful and such an amazing way to end the day. Last but definitely not least was the trip to the record store! He recreated his song "Supernova" on the keyboard and it was splendid. I am still in awe of the time we got to spend with Ansel experiencing his Brooklyn neighborhood. He is such a genuine, kind guy and made the whole experience better than I ever thought it could be. So grateful my sister and I can share these memories together for the rest of our life! The whole day and experience was 100/10 thank you so much Airbnb and Ansel!!

This experience was extremely fun. Ansel was the best teacher. He was patient and extremely skilled at bouldering. His passion for the sport was apparent and it shined brightly. I found a new hobby now! The best part was when he shared his music with us. I was blown away by how lyrically talented he was and how naturally gifted his voice is. It was truly an authentic and unique experience.

I can't put into words how wonderful my experience with Ansel was! Having him teach us the ropes (both literally and figuratively) of a sport he is genuinely passionate about was refreshing and so exciting! After a couple hours of expert bouldering advice and practice alongside Ansel, we hopped into his car for a mini tour of some places in Brooklyn closest to his heart while being played some of his unreleased music. Chatting about the lyrics and themes of his upcoming EP exposed us to the inner workings of an artist's mind while providing a light hearted impromptu jam session! This was certainly a highlight for me, someone who has always had a passion for both writing and music. Our next little stop at a park in Williamsburg gave us the opportunity to take lovely photos with a beautiful sunset view of the city and the following short walk to Main Drag Music gave us time to chat in a relaxed setting followed by an impromptu baseball organ cover of a soon to be released song off his EP. I can't thank Airbnb and Ansel enough for creating memories that will last my sister and I a lifetime and that will be a conversation piece going forward. I wish I could do it all over again! Thank you!!!

We met our experience host Ansel and he explained his love for climbing as this was one of the things he enjoys during his free time. We were given some pointers and safety tips before we began to conquer some indoor bouldering. Ansel was a really great coach as he was extremely helpful, patient and encouraging in teaching us the ropes. We started off with some warm-up climbing and we worked our way up to higher levels. After a couple hours of climbing, Ansel took us to see the sunset and an amazing city view in one of his favorite parts of town in Williamsburg. My favorite part was the car ride on our way to see the sunset and city view. It was so special because Ansel shared some of his soon to be released music that he wrote, sang, and co-produced. For him to share something so personal/original before all the editing and release was really special and fun. He asked for feedback and he gave us the honor of choosing which song would be released first this year. We made it to view the sunset in Williamsburg and it was perfect timing and absolutely beautiful. We got to see so many parts of NY from this amazing view. You could see Ansel's passion for this city as he pointed out all the highlights of NYC. He then dropped us off at the Radegast Hall and Biergarten, one of his favorite local spots to enjoy some good food and drinks.
