What you'll do

We will be touring one of the last remaining pristine salt marshes in South Florida! We begin the hike by admiring a wide variety of lush tropical vegetation in a uplands system while learning about the local history. We then hike south, over primitive trails, where we will explore a series of fresh water lakes. Our destination is an expansive salt marsh where, invertebrates, butterflies, and wading birds are plentiful. We will end with a light break before heading back.
