We are Georgita and Manuel, life-long naturalists, working on sea turtles and birds. Together we have created an NGO with the vision of more of us protecting mexican birds and wildlife by training hundreds of students, publishing 4 bird books, guiding many people and implementing the most productive banding station of this Continent. Now our team will help you discover and love birds in Mexico.

Tierra de Aves promotes conservation and knowledge of birds, through intensive bird banding programs, training students and local indigenous communities through hands-on experience, publishing bilingual local bird guide books and leading the Mexican Christmas Bird Counts Birds focus our observation on nature enhancing the importance of habitat and species conservation, so urgently needed nowadays

Where you'll be

Chapultepec Park is in the middle of Mexico City with trees, lakes and a botanical garden. Easily accessible by metro, car, bus, taxi or by foot. Dates back to the prehispanic days of Moctezuma. It is an avian refuge where you can see many species of migratory, resident and even endemic birds.

To get to the site: Metro Line 7 station: Auditorio, or Line 1 station Chapultepec, walk along Reforma Av. By bus the stop is at the meeting point. Don't forget: hat, sunblock and binoculars
