What you'll do
Join me on a museum tour like no other. Discover our fantastic Sydney International Art Series exhibition, Pipilotti Rist: Sip my Ocean, and make our way through the MCA Collection. We'll look at amazing art, swap stories, play with words and create an artwork together. We’ll explore the deeper meanings behind some of my favourite artworks and installations, including works by Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander artists. You’ll also learn about the cultural significance of the land the MCA sits upon. Included in your Experience are drinks and nibbles at our summer pop-up bar, COLOUR FIELDS, as dusk settles over the Sydney Harbour.
Liam Benson @ MCA
My name is Liam Benson. I’ve been a performance artist for over 15 years, working across embroidery, photography and video. Five years ago, I decided to join the MCA as an Artist Educator and since then, I’ve been sharing my knowledge, creativity and experience with thousands of visitors. I strongly believe that creativity is for everyone, and can't wait to help you find your own creative voice!
About the organization
Museum of Contemporary Art Australia
An architectural icon in its own right, the MCA is Australia’s only museum dedicated to exhibiting and collecting contemporary art. Our Collection contains over 4,000 works by Australian artists, with significant works by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. We exist because contemporary art matters: it stimulates the imagination, engages our senses and has the power to transform lives.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.

Where you'll be
Meet me in the foyer of the MCA, an architectural gem located on one of the most beautiful sites in the world, in Circular Quay. We hate to brag, but our rooftop Cafe has the best views in Sydney, overlooking the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
