What you'll do

★Join us for a 4.5 hours' adventure to visit 10+ main sights in Seoul's historical center. You will experience the real charm of Seoul covering history, culture, landscape and food all in one day.

▶Where will we visit?
We will start our adventure at Jongno-gu, the cultural and historical center of Seoul. Here I will tell you the story of Korea's important historical figures King Sejong and Admiral Li Shun-shin, as well as the origin of Seoul's longest river Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Then we will visit Seochon, the oldest neighborhood in Seoul and enjoy delicious Korean foods in a traditional market. We'll guide you through the maze of secret hanok alleys until we reach the Blue House.

We'll then walk along a beautiful stonewall pathway that only locals know to the last destination Bukchon. A village frozen in time for ages located in the middle of a modernized city, you'll be amazed by its beauty and admire how tradition and modern coexist peacefully in Seoul.

▶Why this experience?
We offer insider tips and unique activities for travelers:
-watch the Ceremony of Changing Guards at Gyeongbokgung Palace
-uncover the oldest neighborhood in Seoul that only locals know
-make your own Korean style lunch box in a traditional market
-explore Gahoe, the hidden alley in Bukchon that is not on your guide book
-enjoy a panoramic view of Changdeokgung Palace in a secret spot
Other things to note

Kay likes walking and travelling so you will learn those things from her. You cannot wait when she explains something because she has smooth voice and it makes you enjoy the long explanation of each places. I felt like I was learning at History class because she really comprehended the explanation material well, but it was not boring because of her smooth voice. I did not know that such a simple thing like throwing coin to the river would be donated to the unicef lol. If it was your first time to go to Gwanghwamun, it will be a good experience because Kay will introduce you the main spots, the spots to look many exquisite views, explain the historical event related to the places, and accompany you along the walk. She also explained the presidential chronology well and I did not know that such a complicated events or material explanation can be learned easier than I expected. She also could talk about political events and politic was a boring thing for me, but because we visited the Green Tile House / President House, the topic popped up and we talked a lot about it. Kay explained about all of the presidents chronologically, so it was good for me. I also learned that the Turtle Ship was such an innovative invention during Korean versus Japan war by Lee Sun Shim, before this experience I only knew about Zico SMTM song with Mino, One called Turtle Ship kkkk. She recommended movie about Lee Sun Shim but I did not remember the title. She also introduced about many movies related about President such as president who shot university student, the movie called Taxi Driver, also a movie about Korean movement every March 1st, I also did not remember what kind of movie it was. There was also Kim Taeri’s movie about Korean democracy struggle I also forgot the title. She introduced me to Heiji, the spirit or imaginary Korean animal that was a mascot of luck and getting rid of bad events. She also gave me tip to rent hanbok and entered Gwanghwamun Palace freely. Kay also explained about Sewol tragedy that made a historical event because the Yoja president got caught to jail because of it, it killed many high school students who went to trip. She also introduced me about a berry that could be proceed as Five Taste Tea, I do not know what is the berry name. She introduced me the West Village or Sejong village because Sejong was born there, and there was a market where we enjoyed our lunch. She took many photos only by phone, but those came well. She introduced me many gift shops and household items such as chopsticks, mug, etc. Finally, we arrived at one of Korean famous coffee shop called Onion, that styled as Hanok, because Gwanghwamun has many Hanok. If you go to the original brand that located at factory or industrial area, the café also styled as a factory, I forgot the place. Then we took a goodbye photo and separated our way. It was an amazing experience because I do not like History but she made me like her explanation. The price was expensive (although it was less experience than most of other airbnb experience), maybe it was because she was an expert of this kind of tour and I acknowledged her. P.S: Kay was sick the day before but she tried to recover and still accompanied me even though she was not fit enough. Type a message...

Kay was wonderful! She truly made our experience in Seoul one to remember. We would not have been able to get ourselves around as easily without her excellent direction. She customized our tour based on the time we had as a layover at ICN. We highly recommend Kay to anyone wishing to explore the city. She has a vast knowledge of Seoul and went above and beyond to make our experience special and memorable. She took us to all of the Seoul hot spots but also took us to more local places that visitors might not know about. Kay also took several photos along the way and captured the moments that we could not have ourselves. She is five star all the way!

Wonderful tour with Kat, who went above and beyond to make sure I got the most out of my short time in Seoul. I was very happy that I booked two tours with her - the Seoul highlights and the night market food tour. Highly recommend!
