What you'll do

If you want to see the touristy spots but also some untouristy spots then this is for YOU! No day is the same and no animal stays in the same place, so why stick to a pre-determined itinerary?! Visit the 'must see' places but let the day's adventure unfold based on real-time animal sightings and the day's conditions. Connect with and intimately understand one of the most productive oceans in the world whilst meeting the locals - fur seals and humpback whales, anemones & sunfish, baboons to bontebok, and don't forget the quirky African oystercatcher. Take a breather from the rigours of travel as we slow things down, tasting the best tea & rusks in all of Cape Town (on a sheltered & secluded shoreline, far from the crowds!). Bring a swim suit if you dare - you may be able to snorkel in a hidden rock pool as we connect with the treasury of life below the surface. From rock pools to boulders, we’ll visit our local African penguins & Dassie at Boulders Beach penguin colony. Then it’s time for lunch at a hidden local spot that leaves you healthy, light & very full (well priced). Your journey will end where it began - a skip and a jump from wine estates, beaches, and the Cape Town city centre - avoiding traffic and queues everywhere you go!

Justin

I am privileged to do what I was born to do - share my world with the world! After completing my master’s in marine biology, I went on to establish ongoing shark research programs in South Africa and Mozambique. I now support my passions through informed tourism, working on blue chip film productions, and large marine animal research projects. As a qualified divemaster and skipper I've spent countless hours engaged in southern Africa’s two oceans. I'm qualified in first aid, am a registered tourist guide and have worked in the tourism industry for 11 years. From tours & travel, manatees to manta rays, I love sharing my world with friends old & new. P.S. My favourite shark is a tiger shark, whats yours? :D
