Sketching in pencil is encouraged in the museum. However, the use of ballpoint pens, crayons, pastel, charcoal, and wet media is not permitted.

Our lesson will take place at the Portland Art Museum, one of the jewels of downtown Portland. Founded in 1892, it is the oldest art museum on the West Coast, and the seventh oldest in the United States.
