What you'll do

This tour offers you the chance to see the city’s famous historical, natural and culinary highlights in one convenient package. Stroll through some of Marrakech’s most picturesque gardens, wander the labyrinthine streets of the Medina and relax over lunch in a traditional restaurant.
Begin at Koutoubia Mosque, the renowned landmark structure of Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakech, a short walk from the main square reveals what was hidden for nearly two-hundred years. Pass by the grand private residence of Dar El Bacha Palace on your way to the narrow streets of the Medina. Hidden away among the maze-like streets are treasures your guide is eager to show you, ovens churning out typical street food, and an array of workshops where craftsmen produce goods to be sold at the souks.
Complete your tour with a view over the plaza of Jemaa el-Fnaa, this is a prime spot for people-watching in one of the city’s liveliest spots. We head to Majorelle Gardens, where the morning light illuminates the vibrant colours of the architecture, set vividly against the lush green vegetation. Continue to Menara Garden for a stroll through the peaceful site.
Finish the tour at Palmeraie area and ride the camel and enjoy the sunset before heading back to Casablanca.

Nightmare experience! Please read and do not book with this person. I'm going to do everything in my power to get him kicked off of airbnb. I thought because this was a service with reviews on airbnb that it would be good quality and a stress free way to get to marrakech from Casablanca. It ended up being the most stressful and infuriating travel experience I've had this far. First Omar had another guy pick us up at our apartment at 7:06am. Then we picked up another couple and parked outside of their hotel. Then the driver hopped out of the car without explanation and disappeared for AN HOUR! Leaving the 6 of us in a freezing minivan with no clue as to what was going on. Just after 8pm omar came pulling up in a bus stating that there was "car problems". The bus seats were beyond small and uncomfortable. I'm 5'4 and my knees were touching the seat in front of me. I'm pretty sure it was a bus for children. We were still happy to be on the road at that time until we realized our driver was falling asleep at the wheel and swerving off of the road like crazy. There were 11 people on the bus and we were all yelling at him to wake up. He refused to pull over. There were times when he was literally going 50 miles UNDER the speed limit on the highway because he would doze off. I've never been so terrified in my life. We should have been to marrakech at 10am or so but instead didnt get there until after noon. He then proceeded to leave us with a tour guide who didnt even let us use the bathroom after our 4 hour bus ride. He started showing us a building then walked us over the the square and told us to wait for him there while he took a cigarette break. We had only been with him for not even 10 minutes! When I saw he was just making us stand there while he smoked a cigarette and talked on the phone, I lost it! We ended us walking out of the tour and taking a train back home. There was no way I was getting back in a vehicle with Omar again. They should not be allowed to be on airbnb or any other website. Please save your money and take the train, it was super inexpensive, easy, safe and a much better value!!!!

TLDR: Minimal sightseeing, Mostly Shopping. Get this if you want a ride to Marrakech, but this is by no means a real AirBnB experience. Details: First of all, I don’t believe Omar actually runs this tour. Within our group there were people who booked through other channels (GetYourGuide, etc.), and that is decidedly against AirBnB policy. He reached out to me 2 days prior and asked to change the date. The ride from Casablanca to Marrakech was uneventful, and we had a rest stop that put the total journey time at about 3.5 hours. Once in Marrakech, we started at the Koutoubia Mosque, where we literally stopped for 30 seconds for a photo and went back onto the car. Next, we rushed through the Bahia Palace—the entrance fee was 70 Dhirams and not included. The shady thing is that our guide didn’t actually buy tickets, but rather pocketed the cash himself and waved us through the door. When we asked for the tickets (as souvenirs) we had to ask 4 times, and he then produced stubs that have a totally different date (from last month) on it. We then proceeded to a rug shop, an argan oil shop, a trinket/souvenir shop, and a yarn/scarf shop, all of which certainly pay a hefty commission to our tour guide. I can’t stress how frustrating that THE MAJORITY OF THE FEW HOURS WE HAD IN MARRAKECH WAS SPENT AT SHOPS. Afterwards, our Marrakech guide left us at a restaurant with the included lunch. The restaurant was very touristy (think giant groups with flag waving tour guides), and the food mediocre. Following lunch (and splitting with the tour guide), our driver took us to the Yves Saint Laurent museum/Majorelle garden. Tickets there was also not included (this was not mentioned on the AirBnB description), at 70 dhirams. We only had 45 minuets to spend there—clearly not enough to even get the tickets considering how long the line was. As a result, we didn’t actually see the garden OR the museum. The camel ride at the end of the day was the only redeeming quality. Overall, the driver was proactive and offered to reflect our feedback to the agency. (Clearly not AirBnB). However, the tour guide was truly awful. Besides the questionable practices and poor English, he also would constantly walk without turning around or explaining, to the point where we lost a few people along the way and had to backtrack. If you only have a day to go to Marrakech, and is traveling alone like I was, by all means book this experience for the ride. But I would recommend then splitting and exploring on your own. At least you’ll get your money’s worth that way.

Keep your expectations low. Bear in mind you will have to pay extra for entrance fees which is not stated clearly on the description. The tour guides level of English was very poor and didn’t seem to care about members of the group getting lost or slowing down. There was a lot of walking in the market which involves the tour guide getting a commission so be aware of that. At best it’s a good way of seeing and getting a feel for Marrakech.

This experience was great for a one day visit to Marrakesh. You can't see and do everything, but it definitely gives you the highlights of the City. Highly recommend the camel rides and visit to Margorelle Gardens. The lunch is a feast as well. Had some minor issues with our itinerary, but Omar went above and beyond to resolve and was very responsive.

The driver was great and did a good job setting the anticipation of seeing Marrakech from the pick up at the hotel to the drive into the city. The van was very comfortable and it was nice to have WIFI while traveling. Omar was very accommodating and allowed me to stay on in Marrakech, even had the driver drop me off at my local hotel.

Get prepared to walk and see a lot! The tour is a great way to see Marrakech, especially if you only have one day left. The driver picked us up on time (7am) and we returned around 7pm. We had an opportunity to learn about the Mosque there, how to make Argan Oil, and different tribes and their unique carpet design. We had a very nice lunch at a beautiful restaurant with great hospitality. Lastly, we visited the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and Garden and ended the trip riding the camel. You will also have fine to do plenty of shopping. This was a great tour for my last day in Casablanca!
