What you'll do
Experience a quintessential English seaside day out - just 90 minutes from central London. Explore the Kent coast while I share stories and folk tales of this area where I grew up. It’s steeped in a history of privateers, smuggling, ghost ships, and celebrities. We’ll meet at Deal train station and set off on our walk through town and along the beach, identifying flora and fauna, and places of interest along the way. Highlights of our 10-mile walk include passing the famous Time-Ball Tower, two Cinque Port castles, a 1850s beach pub, and a traditional British fish & chips lunch on the shoreline. We’ll return along the High Street, where you can buy cotton candy, artisanal foods, and mementos before bringing the day to a close. Don’t forget to bring your camera.

I grew up in Deal before training as a safari guide in South Africa. I went on to gain additional guiding experience in South America and Arabia. I will share with you my knowledge of my home area, coastal flora and fauna, historical landmarks and riveting stories of local characters and folklore, providing you with unique memories to treasure long into the future.
