What you'll do
Amsterdam is a beautiful city to visit, but have you ever wondered what the countryside looks like? Are you looking for typical flat, green Dutch landscapes, views of windmills, black and white spotted cows, and the dramatic skies you see in the paintings of the old Dutch masters? Do you want to see them in the classic Dutch way—by bike? Well, look no further. I will take you through these landscapes—some parts haven't changed since the Dark Ages—just within the Amsterdam city boundaries. We will stop in these beautiful surroundings for a coffee, tea. We will also visit a windmill—where a guide will show you around. At the end of the ride, I will show you a place with stunning views of the whole city of Amsterdam. I can't wait to meet you.

I am native Dutch, and I've lived on the western side of Amsterdam for 16 years. I love to cycle around Amsterdam and see how many tourists share that feeling. The city center of Amsterdam is beautiful, but I always feel that people miss out when they don't see the beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of town. Amsterdam has so much more to offer than coffee shops and the Red Light District. So please join me, and let me show you the unknown side of Amsterdam rarely visited by tourists.
