I really appreciate our guide, Panisa, for her hard work and I think it’s great that the money from this experience goes to a good cause, but I wasn’t impressed with this food tour. The food was OK, not worth going out of your way for. I was a bit worried since the meat we ate wasn’t hot and seemed like it had been sitting outside a long time. The tour is supposed to be 1.5 hours, but it ended up being over 2 hours. Which would have been fine, I just wish we were informed in advance that it could go late. The whole thing seemed a bit disorganized, and I was confused why they chose this particular market for us to visit. Also, I didn’t realize until after the tour that most of the reviews are from over 2 years ago. Those reviews did not match our experience at all. Even the experience description seems outdated. Love the charity and I’d be happy to donate directly to it, but there are better food tours in Bangkok.
