What you'll do
When you arrive at our historic farmhouse, you will see you are in the heart of Summerville! Summerville is a historic town about 25 min outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Many folks are surprised with our mini-farm being in an urban setting. We are unique because this city was built up around our 1870's farmhouse, which makes it very convenient!
We will meet on the front porch & give you an in-depth tour of our mini-farm, which has 6 dwarf goats, a mini-cow, over 2 dozen chickens, honey bee hives, barn cats, & farm dogs, on our half-acre property. Pretty much all of our animals can be held, snuggled, & are very friendly! Whe raise our animals not only to provide for us but also as very loved pets. Each one has a name, a special place in our hearts, & this is what makes our farm different is how friendly our animals are!!!
We always have something going on that we would love to share with or teach you, DEPENDING on the time of year, such as; bottle feeding baby goats, raising baby chicks, learning to milk a goat, collecting eggs, brushing moo, feeding the goats, tending to baby kittens, watching the honey bee hives, collecting food from the garden, & just learning what goes on here on our mini-farm on a daily basis!
But most importantly, SNUGGLING GOATS!!!
You will be able to snuggle the goats, hold them, pet them, take pictures & just enjoy spending time with them!

Aloha Y'all! My name is Jenna, and my husband, Chris, & I were born & raised in Hawaii. We made our dreams come true when we moved to the South & purchased our fixer-upper historic home and started our mini-farm. We have an 1870's colonial farmhouse that we have been fixing up since 2015, which is how our home-business, Flowertown Charm, was born. What started as a blog sharing our DIY & home renovations, expanded to our mini-farm, furniture painting, hosting 2 guest rooms with Airbnb, selling homemade farm goods on Etsy, & most recently, goat yoga!
We LOVE animals, and we have quite a few of them! The number one question we get is "can we come to visit your mini-farm and snuggle goats?".
And now we can finally say, yes you can!

We had such a wonderful time this afternoon! Jennifer greeted us right on the porch with a helpful overview then we headed right back to see the animals. Winnie the Pyrenees was the sweetest dog with my 2.5 year old son. The goats were all adorable! I loved feeding them leaves by hand, giving belly scratches to Pork Chop and Bacon the pigs, and my son loved exploring the tractor. Thank you for having us!

This was a trip booked especially for my husband who loves goats. Our 1 year old granddaughter and our 25 year old son joined us who live nearby. From the minute we arrived, Jenna and Winter, the Great Pyrenees, made us all feel welcome and we conversed easily. The tour started as soon as we stepped into the back where the animals lived. Pretty chickens, Tank the tortoise, all the cute goats & pigs was cuteness overload! But the special treat was Moo and Martini, the mini Highland cows. Every single animal was so friendly and wanted one thing from you, petted and scratches. Not once did we feel our granddaughter might be harmed, it's like the animals knew to be gentle. We agreed after the tour, we could've easily stayed another hour just to keep hanging with each kind creature.
Truly enjoyed this and will definitely come back next time we're visiting our son here in SC.
