Our urban historic farmhouse and mini farm is located in Summerville, SC. Summerville is a historic town about 25 min outside of Charleston. Many folks are surprised with our mini-farm being in an urban setting. We are unique because this city was built up around our 1870's farmhouse.

You will get up close (literally in your lap if you want) with our super friendly dwarf goats! We also have a Scottish Highland cow, chickens, barn cats, farm dog, bee hives, & a giant totoise. Pretty much all of our animals can be pet, snuggled, & are very friendly! Each one has a name, a special place in our hearts, & this is what makes our farm different from a petting zoo. We have some of the friendliest animals you can meet and are up close to the animals not petting over a fence...

The snuggle session will take place in our backyard so the animals are all close by and you can sit with them, feed them leaves, pet them, give hugs, brush them, Moo (our mini cow) may even give you a kiss! We will intoroduce you to the animals, and tell you some facts about the animals, but give you the freedom to roam and pet whoever your favorite is!

Aloha Y'all! My name is Jenna, and my husband, Chris, & I were born & raised in Hawaii. We made our dreams come true when we moved to the South & purchased our fixer-upper historic home and started our mini-farm. We have an 1870's colonial farmhouse that we have been fixing up since 2015, which is how our home-business, Flowertown Charm, was born. What started as a blog sharing our DIY & home renovations, expanded to our mini-farm, furniture painting, hosting 2 guest rooms with Airbnb, selling homemade farm goods on Etsy, & most recently, goat yoga and farm tours!
We LOVE animals, and we have quite a few of them! The number one question we get is "can we come to visit your mini-farm and snuggle goats?".
And now we can finally say, yes you can!

This quaint urban farm was so charming. We loved meeting all the animals. They were all so sweet and well cared for. Jennifer was a great host. She was very informative teaching us about the different animals on her land and also about the history of her property. She even went above and beyond and recommended a charming place for us to get some lunch. Overall we had a great experience and would even consider staying at her Airbnb on the property if we are ever in the area again.

Fun way to spend an hour if you’re in the area. My boyfriend and I love animals so it was nice to take a break from all the busy city vibe in Charleston and pet some goats, a cow, two pigs, a tortoise, some unique and beautiful chickens and a sweet dog. We got to feed the goats, which made them our best friends, lol. All of the animals were kind and the owner was very kind, knowledgeable, and personable. I definitely recommend! She even suggested a place for us to go to lunch to after, Five Loaves Cafe. We went and really enjoyed that too.

I can’t recommend this experience enough. After attending a goat yoga class I knew I had to come back for more. Goat snuggles fit the bill perfectly. Jenna and Chris were so accommodating to our schedule and made sure we had the best experience with the animals. They told us about each animal and what makes them special, which made it that much better. All of their quirky furry friends were so sweet and loving that we couldn’t get enough. We will definitely be back to have this experience again!

Such a fun way to get to spending a morning. Our girls trip to Charleston was perfect and our visit with the animals was part of that perfection.

I loved visiting the farm. It was so fun to meet all the animals and see their personalities. The owners were around to supervise and answer questions, but it’s a fairly chill experience and you can decide which animals you’d like to spend time with. I ended up snuggled up to a goat on a daybed learning about chickens from the owner. In my book, that’s perfect.
