What you'll do

We begin at the famous Morgan Street Brewery where you will be able to get discounts on food and drink. We visit the house of Dr Wilson and hear the strange story of his encounter with an 8 year old apparition. Then we head to the Mississippi River, passing by the location of the gruesome death of Dauphine Delabrieres scandalous lover. Then we explore the scene of Abraham Lincolns Duel, the spot where Pierre Laclede first set foot founding St Louis, The wondrous and unusual Eads bridge. You will hear about the Lemp Family and the five suicides that happened in their mansion over 31 years. We finish by recounting the real life story that inspired the famous movie The Exorcist. And we finish off in ClayMorgan Alley, the most haunted place in St Louis, where more than 4000 cholera ridden bodies were stacked up in 1849...and their spirits still wander the street. You will have many chance to ask questions of David, the only guide, who has made a lifetimes devotion to understanding both the history and paranormal elements of the city. An unforgettable experience with one of the great storytellers in America.

Really fun tour - learned some neat things about the history of St. Louis beyond the hauntings, and really enjoyed the ghost stories as well. Would definitely recommend it to others!

This tour was amazing! I went with a few friends and all of us had a great time, even though it was pouring rain the whole time! David's storytelling was beyond measure.

With a limited amount of Airbnb experiences in the St. Louis area, David's Haunted History Walk is a true gem! I would highly recommend anyone make time from for this, regardless if visiting town or a local, this is worth the experience. The brewery you begin at has wonderful drinks and hearty food. The walk doesn't put you into a state of fright, but rather into amazement and wonder. Not only do you hear about several tragic and spooky events taking place on the grounds you are on, but there is also a perfect amount of humor and fascinating history sprinkled in. David is a true showman of a rare degree that is a pleasure to see in action!

Wish STL had more experiences like this. David's trip should be required of any St Louisan. Had no idea how much history was in this city
