I grew up in Korea, majored in history and tourism. Also I love meeting new people and experiencing cultures, thus love to go backpacking. When I volunteered as a curator for palace visits on a weekly basis, I've seen many foreigners visiting here since then. Explanations provided on the billboards were not sufficient. I felt sorry for those who had to overlook hidden beauties in the palace. It thus encouraged me to come up with this program, so that I can introduce this palace to visitors in Seoul. I guarantee you that this tour would be a perfect chance for you to explore about Korea. In addition, I have a certificate for a tour guide. I have a sense of pride and professionalism in this activity. Let's enjoy Seoul and palace history!
Where you'll be
Changdeokgung was built 1405 during the Joseon dynasty. Its capital was also Seoul, founded in 1392, and lasted until 1910. This is a magical place with more than 600 years of Korean history and stories. I think it's important to know what happened there and see what matters. We can talk about Korean and even East Asian culture. If you want to travel and walk in the past of the city, let's go.
