What you'll do

***More Than Just A Hike - This Is A Gratitude Experience***

This is suitable for all levels, beginners to advanced. We're going to ditch the crowds and traffic and head out for a waterfall hike off the beaten path in the Smoky Mountains!

***Please note: Booking Private Groups Only. If you request a date, please select Private Group. Private groups are 2-30 people. 2-5 people is a flat rate. 6 or more is $59 per person.***

This trail features several excellent waterfalls and cascades and is arguably one of the best waterfall hikes in the national park.

We'll be unplugged, free from the distractions of our phones.

This hike also includes gratitude, so please bring a positive attitude! We'll start the hike with gratitude so we can be in the right frame of mind. We'll play some other gratitude games using a deck of cards called The Grateful Deck that contain fun questions that remind us to be grateful and positive. There is a place along the trail to stop and sit by the waterfalls, while playing the Grateful Game.

Since there are no phones on this hike, I'll take pics. Feel free to bring a regular camera.

***Other things to note***

- Booking Private Groups Only.
- Experience is 3 Hours.
- Kids are welcome.
- We'll meet at Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont. After we meet there, we have another 3 miles to drive to get to the trailhead.
- No phones.

I love getting outside and showing visitors around my favorite trails in the Smoky Mountains and I can't wait to be your guide for your Tennessee hiking adventure!

To get the most out of the experience, we'll be unplugged, away from distractions of daily life. I also like to incorporate gratitude in the experience and we'll use a game I created called The Grateful Deck. You can see it on my website here: https://sayitwithgratitude.com/collections/the-grateful-deck

Cheers!

Where you'll be

We will meet at Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont. We will be away from the crowds and will do a gorgeous waterfall hike.

Wear a good pair of walking or hiking shoes. We'll be outside seeing some beautiful sights, so you'll want to bring sunscreen, bug spray and a water bottle. We'll be unplugged so we can enjoy the experience to its fullest. I will take pictures and everyone will get an online photo album.

Great hike with great places to stop and get pictures. Scott took great pictures for us! Nice quiet hike away from the crowds of Gatlinburg!

Scott was a friendly guide who went out of his way to make the hike fun for our 3 year old. This was a great family experience.

This hike with Scott was the highlight of our trip. He is very knowledgeable and charismatic, not to mention you get to see amazing sights on the trail. The gratitude aspect of it all really helps connect as a family as well. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the Smokies.

Scott did a great job touring us through this magical tour along the waterfalls. My brother and I really enjoyed it, particularly the gratitude moments Scott led. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend this hike. Scott was wonderful and the sights were amazing. He accommodated our elderly and out of shape group beautifully. Scott is a gifted and kind guide and I can still see the rushing water in my minds eye.

By far the best time we have had so far. Scott is an amazing person and the location he chose for the hike was Heavenly. Very 'grateful' to have booked this excursion and have the joy of interacting with such a great host. Thanks again and God Bless.
