What you'll do

We begin at Boston Harbor, with a walk through a waterfront park and head to the heart of the North End.
You'll visit a hidden Italian bakery serving up fresh bread daily, followed by a proper Italian salumeria, where you can enjoy some Italian meats and cheeses at their freshest.
Next up is Hanover Street, where it’s time for a break with your guide at an Italian café. Here, you can purchase your choice of a cappuccino, espresso, or tea or just take a minute off your feet.
Then you'll go back in time into North End history. Hear stories about influential events that happened in Boston while we make our way to the Old North Church and, whenever possible, step inside the hallowed walls.
After church, we dive into the local side of the North End. A taste of pizza awaits at a neighborhood favorite and then we cap off the North End food experience with samples of the best Italian pastries.
Then, your guide leads you to the famous Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market.
Moving into the heart of Downtown Boston, we stop in front of the Old State House and site of the Boston Massacre.
A short trek through Downtown Crossing and past the Old City Hall takes you to one of the most historic places in the country, King’s Chapel Burial Ground and King’s Chapel.
Finally, we arrive at the Boston Public Garden, where you see locals walking the dogs, playing with the kids, and enjoying the day.
Other things to note
Please wear casual clothes appropriate for the weather, and comfortable walking shoes. This tour is mainly outside.

As a life-long (and that's a long time!) Boston local, I have a deep love and appreciation for my city's history and food. I genuinely love sharing my side of Boston with everyone I meet - it's a real a passion of mine. While Boston's history is one of the major draws for visitors, but there is so much more here than important historical events and American history. With so many influences and such a long history, we've also got one of the most diverse and delicious culinary scenes in New England (and I'd argue on the East Coast). I've lived all over Boston, so I love discovering new things, place, and restaurants that even I never knew about! No matter what type of experience you’re looking for, one thing is certain, I'll definitely take you to spots that only locals know about and have a truly memorable time! I can't wait to meet you!

This tour was excellent. Not only did we experience the big attractions, but we were able to get insight and experience into Italian culture in Boston. One moment we're walking in a historic meeting area of Boston settlers, and the next walking down a small alley and underground bakery to get a chocolate eclair. Sully was an excellent tour guide, who had personal and historic insight into the city. Not a dull moment, 10/10. Make sure to come hungry and ready to walk!
