My tea ceremony history is 40 years. I am presiding the tea ceremony classroom. I am enjoying the days of the tea ceremony with kimono every day, such as nurseries and volunteers at elementary schools. We invite you to enjoy Japanese traditional culture with delicious Matcha and Japanese sweets.

This was a great experience. The tea shop is very cute and clean. The tea and wagashi were delicious! We speak conversational Japanese and the host took her time to use simple Japanese to explain things. There was also a pamphlet in English that explains the ceremony as well as how guests receive and drink the tea. It’s also in a great location in the Higashi Chaya district. Furthermore, the host was very friendly and even gave us bandaids when we asked where to buy them around there. All in all, 5/5 would recommend.
