What you'll do

I will take you on a day trip through the beautiful rain forest of Doi Suthep - Pui National Park covering the mountains around Chiang Mai. We will start at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the famous buddha temple overlooking the city. From this landmark we will make our way up to a Hmong village called "Khun Chang Khian" where we will rest our legs and have lunch. After lunch we will continue our hike and enjoy beautiful views over the mountains at "Doi Hua Moo" view point (the pigtail hill top). From there we shall wander along a bird watching trail to finish the hike. We will hike 15 km with approximately 1000 m of elevation.
Other things to note
Don't forget to bring a raincoat, sun protection cream and mosquito repellent. Most important are a good camera and a good mood :-)

Hello!! My name is Chani. I’m a chemical engineer by education and I am holding a master degree in Industrial Engineering, but I have decided to dedicate my life to being a tour guide as I found out that I am someone who wants to be independent and out in nature, by actively going cycling and hiking. My secret passion is traveling the world. During and after my studies I have traveled to Asia, Europe, and New Zealand to improve my foreign language skills and to learn about other cultures. I realised that I very much enjoy meeting people from different countries and exploring the world together. My passion is enjoying every moment of my life, finding friendship, love and happiness with each day that passes.

In September 2019 I have been part of a documentary for Discovery Asia channel.

The trek was amazing not too easy. If you want to workout a bit to be able to enjoy good food in Chiang mai the next meal this is great exercise with good view and fun conversation with Chani. Definitely recommend for good getaway from chaos to enjoy nature.

This was a really fun hike! Even though COVID restrictions don’t allow for the whole experience, it was well worth it. Chanika is a great guide with a fun personality as well. Highly recommend it.

One of my favourite treks I've done in Thailand. Unfortunately the national park was closed due to COVID so we were unable to continue after lunch time but the first part of the trek was fantastic, the right level of difficulty (not too much uphill but some clambering over/under trees, streams etc). It was rainy season so a little slippery but the temperature was perfect. Chani is lovely, the lunch location was great and well-timed. Would recommend without hesitation

Chanika was wonderful and we had a great experience on the adventure hike with her in the mountains above Chiang Mai. She is passionate about nature and easily connects with guests. Chanika picked us up from the hotel on a typical local open air covered truck. We drove about 30 minutes up the mountain. The hike starts from Wat Phra Dat Doi Suthep, which was beautiful, and something on our to do list already. We then went through the jungle to a local village passing streams, fallen trees, and strawberry fields. We ended up with lunch at a local cafe in the village before being driven down again to our hotel. The hike requires relatively good level of physical fitness. While not strenuous, it is more than 10K of trekking in the mountain, which takes you up to 1,400m above sea level. If you are ok with getting dirty and breaking a sweat, and enjoy the outdoors, this is definitely a recommended experience in Chiang Mai. Chanika will make sure you have a great time.

총 18km에 달하는 산행코스입니다. 트레킹이라고 생각하면 큰 오산, 제대로 산행 준비하지 않으면 낙오하기 십상이니 참고들 하시기를. 산길은 꽤나 험한 편이네요
