What you'll do

We utilize high quality touring kayaks outfitted with foot controlled rudder systems. Instruction is given at the beginning of the tour and as needed along the way.
The tour begins at the Turtle Creek Inn dock, on a tidal creek flowing through a mangrove forest. The water is crystal clear. Right away you may see fishes, rays, and sea turtles. Birds can be seen and heard throughout the mangroves. We will emerge onto a flat, a shallow expanse of open water, with stunning views of the surrounding islands and multi hued waters.
We will explore this area, arriving to Cut Beach, located on Moriah Cay. This has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! It is an interactive beach with an amazing current that you can float, or play and workout in. Sandbars of gleaming white are exposed and sculpted with each tide change. The color of the water is an awe inspiring symphony of blues! We will play, swim, explore and enjoy this beach for an hour or so. The returning kayak journey will lead us through a crystal clear tidal creek and mangrove tunnel as we work our way back to the inn.

We are Ronda Good and husband, Steve Cox.
Kayaking the Moriah Cay National Park is our absolute favorite thing to do. This is an area of incredible natural beauty.
We have been guiding kayaking tours here for 18 years.
Ronda owned and operated Tropical Kayak Tours in Vero Beach Florida starting in 1999. Steve owned and operated Adventure Kayaking Tours from 1995. We sold our companies and have opened an inn on Little Exuma in the Bahamas.
Our unique perspective and knowledge of the flora and fauna can greatly enhance the kayaking experience for our guests.
We also have sup boards and offer snorkeling. The beaches we travel to can only be reached by boat and are absolutely stunning!
Tidal changes and weather are a concern that we alleviate with local knowledge of this area

We have three teens and our family loved Ronda's courtesy, safety guidance , and shared great information of this special place . Ronda us quite an exceptional host and has heart in her tour. Out of all the beaches and excursions this is an absolute hidden gem. In our family's opinion, the best experience in Exuma . It felt personalized, and the location, wow, after all the research in Exuma I didn't anticipate how magical Moriah Cay is. Her lunch was excellent , and is very responsive. Highly recommended and a must do !

If you are visiting Exuma, don’t miss this experience! Ronda and Steve are exceptionally nice, accommodating, and give an amazing tour! Ronda was our guide and shared her love and knowledge of the area. She knows exactly where you can see the best wildlife (sea turtles & other sea life), points out birds and other things along the way, and you learn a lot about the area! It was a very relaxing, peaceful time, with an amazing picnic lunch on the most beautiful beach in the world! I really can’t recommend this highly enough!

This excursion is a total MUST!!!! I simply cannot say enough good things about our host and the beauty of Moriah Cay. Rhonda shared her vast knowledge of the cay, sea life, and plants. She even knew just where to have us stand for the most amazing pictures! She made a beautiful homemade picnic lunch...with lots of options. I will defiantly be back and take this excursion with Rhonda again!

What a cool way to experience the crystal clear waters of Exuma. We battled some wind which our 12 year old struggled with - no drama, Ronda simply strapped a tow line on his kayak and the kid was all smiles again. Like magic, the clouds broke when we got to our destination and we had a blast swimming and playing in the lazy river. Lunch was phenomenal (three servings of pasta salad for this girl)! We saw rays, turtles and sharks as we paddled around. The kayaks were really comfortable. I was a bit nervous and was provided a tandem kayak to go with my husband who delighted in splashing me with his paddles while I did all the rowing. Super cool experience for us, who live in a land locked part Canada and don’t get to be out on the ocean much. Would highly recommend this tour. After the tour we took up Ronda on her suggestion of heading to Santannas restaurant for lobster and cold beers. Great way to end a great day.

This was a wonderful day. Ronda was very helpful as this is as my first time to kayak. We went to a beautiful beach and had a great lunch that she had provided. Would definitely do again next time in Exuma.
