What you'll do

We utilize high quality touring kayaks outfitted with foot controlled rudder systems. Instruction is given at the beginning of the tour and as needed along the way.
The tour begins at the Turtle Creek Inn dock, on a tidal creek flowing through a mangrove forest. The water is crystal clear. Right away you may see fishes, rays, and sea turtles. Birds can be seen and heard throughout the mangroves. We will emerge onto a flat, a shallow expanse of open water, with stunning views of the surrounding islands and multi hued waters.
We will explore this area, arriving to Cut Beach, located on Moriah Cay. This has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! It is an interactive beach with an amazing current that you can float, or play and workout in. Sandbars of gleaming white are exposed and sculpted with each tide change. The color of the water is an awe inspiring symphony of blues! We will play, swim, explore and enjoy this beach for an hour or so. The returning kayak journey will lead us through a crystal clear tidal creek and mangrove tunnel as we work our way back to the inn.
Other things to note
Kayaking the Moriah Cay National Park is an amazing experience. To make the most of it, be prepared for the sun! Bring a hat, polarized sunglasses and plenty of water. Wear sports sandals with a heel strap.

We are Ronda Good and husband, Steve Cox.
Kayaking the Moriah Cay National Park is our absolute favorite thing to do. This is an area of incredible natural beauty.
We have been guiding kayaking tours here for 18 years.
Ronda owned and operated Tropical Kayak Tours in Vero Beach Florida starting in 1999. Steve owned and operated Adventure Kayaking Tours from 1995. We sold our companies and have opened an inn on Little Exuma in the Bahamas.
Our unique perspective and knowledge of the flora and fauna can greatly enhance the kayaking experience for our guests.
We also have sup boards and offer snorkeling. The beaches we travel to can only be reached by boat and are absolutely stunning!
Tidal changes and weather are a concern that we alleviate with local knowledge of this area

Omg where do we begin! My sister and I booked the kayaking tour as our last excursion and it didn’t disappoint. Although it did provide a bit of a workout and was a little awkward at first it was well worth the effort. Ronda and her husband took us along a beautiful water trail filled with rocky shores, turtles, mangroves, and a quiet beach along the Atlantic. We had a delightful lunch that they made and we all shared a ton of stories. They were more than happy to answer all of our questions and give us, what felt like, a private tour the entire way. Channeling through the mangroves was our favorite because it was filled with snowflake jellyfish, turtles and even a baby sand shark. When we got back they even walked us through their backyard which was filled with a bunch of baby vegetables and fruits and we even got a tour of their Airbnb rentals. We may even consider staying there next time but we most definitely would book another tour with them. We had such a great relaxing day experiencing the Bahamas and their lagoons up close and personal.

I was recommended by a new friend I met in exuma....and she knew what I needed. The personal experience, the amazing views and ease of this tour...I want to express my sheer gratitude for Ronda and Steve for their transparency and generously sharing their 20 year journey to be in Exuma and now it’s their back yard. I had an entire beach to myself today...I needed this solitude as I am going through a divorce of leaving an abusive husband. I have so much more perspective once again and encouraged for 2020 and a better life. Thank you so much Ronda....I hope our paths cross again. Can’t wait to follow your next adventures!! Thank you ❤️

Wonderful experience! Kayaking this area of Exuma is a must. Very peaceful and beautiful ride followed by the most beautiful beach you've ever seen! Swam with the current and against it. The lunch that was provided was fresh and tasty! We really enjoyed our time!

This was an absolutely spectacular experience. Every moment—from kayaking through the mangroves, to the time we spent on the magical secluded beach (it's huge!), to the homemade picnic lunch—was really magical. Ronda is so in love with her work and Exuma, and her passion is contagious. I really can't say enough about how special this time with Ronda was for us. Go!!

This experience was beyond our expectations - it is highly recommended! The whole organization, contact with the host, logistics, etc. worked out smoothly. They really made sure we were comfortable with the kayak and the activity in general. Steve and Ronda are great hosts and they know the area pretty well; we really enjoyed having them and guides showing us the places and telling us about them. Also, as someone that does not have much experience kayaking I felt quite confortable during the whole activity. The best part of all was the unbelievable places we got to visit. They were simply wonderful, and we were the only ones there, so it was very calm and peaceful. The hosts prepared a tasty picnic and we got to enjoy the beautiful beaches as long as we wanted. Looking forward to going back as soon as possible!
