What you'll do
This is a neighborhood of long-held family traditions and secret recipes. Because our family has been here for 101-years, we have special access that we share with you including a peek at a 116 year old coal burning oven and special dishes you won't find on the regular menu of this home cooking focused restaurant. The tour begins with a "slow graze" through the shops followed by lunch inside the Arthur Avenue Retail Market.
Our Bronx Little Italy tour has been featured on the cover of The New Yorker, on CNN Travel, USA Today's 10 Best, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Mic, and more. I'm Danielle and my family has had a shop on Arthur Avenue since 1918. My husband Christian is a sommelier who has worked at a Michelin-star restaurant and won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Together we created Arthur Avenue Food Tours to show people around this one-of-a-kind neighborhood of mom-and-pop-shops. Our signature Shopping & Tasting Tour + Lunch lets you taste the best of the shops and restaurants here.
On-the-go-tastings plus a sit-down lunch.
